GENERAL
INFORMATION:
Estancia Peuma Hue is characterized by the impressive,
energetic landscape that surrounds it. To the north, facing
the main house you find Lago Gutierrez with beautifully blue-coloured
glacial waters reaching its banks and changing into a green-turquoise
when mixing with Peuma-Hue bay waters. To the west, the granitic
steep slopes of D´Agostini Hills stand majestically guarding
the bay with its sacred energy . To the east, an ancient wavy
range of hills sets the harmony and balance in the soul. To
the south, a valley called "Divisoria de Aguas" divides
the waters that flow into the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
This boutique hotel has a main house that is extremely
comfortable and warm, nicely decorated and with majestic
views from its windows that become memorable to the guests,
especially for first-time visitors. It has four rooms and
shelters nine guests. Its design bares in mind the importance
of the surrounding landscape, that is the reason why you find
enormous windows in each room with great views from them.
The spacious living room overlooks the lake and has a lovely
chimney. The dining room has a view to the bay and is connected
to the kitchen which is furnished in wood. The ground floor
bedrooms are decorated with indian tapestries and crafts,
wooden or iron furniture and antiques. The top floor bedroom
has 3 beds made of tree trunks. The bathroom has a distinctive
feature: its glass roof is like a huge window to the universe
so you can have a shower while you contemplate the sky, the
stars, the moon or the silently falling snow. The Master
Suite has big windows overlooking the lake and its bathroom
also has a glass roof and jacuzzi. This suite offers a desk
and a complete bookshelf. There are two more rooms on the
top floor for the rest of the guests.
There is another house called "Casa de Huéspedes" 200
meters away from the Main House and it has room
for eight guests. There are four bedrooms with private
bathrooms, two of them on the ground floor and the other two
on the top floor. The living room has a chimney and a dining
room overlooking "Lago Gutierrez".
There are two more cabins. One is called "La del Arroyo"
and has one bedroom with a queen bed and a livingroom with
two extra beds, kitchen, bar and bathroom. It is ideal for
two guests to a maximum of four. The other one is called "Cabaña
de la Montaña" and it has room for six-seven guests. It
has two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open loft on the top
floor with three beds. The living room has a chimney made
of stone.
At "Estancia Peuma Hue" you have the perfect combination
of first-class lodging with a great variety of activities
such as: horse riding, fly-fishing, trekking, rowing, kayaks,
rappel and walks among others.
Additional service is offered to guests like Andean, Celtic
or classical concerts, massage, Yoga, Tai Chi, Tango lessons
and shows and wine tasting. Fresh organic farm vegetables
are the starting point for the delicious food which is healthy
and perfectly balanced by our chef.
