INFORMATION:
In the door of the Puna. A stone house. The mumur of the water
running by the drains, fresh forest moved by the breeze and
wonderful landscapes. A place to rest, the adventure the
discovery and the reunion. A place to live without rush, enjoying
every moment. This is La Aguada. Close to Catamarca city,
an excepcional nature.
The hotel has five rooms with private bath, distributed in
two floors. Those of the ground floor of typical northern
colonial style, with walls of stone and checkerboard tiles
floors. Those of the top floor made of wooden walls and floors,
and hipped roof.
At La Aguada boutique hotel you will have the chance to enjoy
a park of 16 acres, with native and exotic trees. The surroundings
of the hotel consist of a garden, semiarid and rocky areas,
grassland and wooded area. Everything placed in mountainous
land with beautiful sceneries in its path. The park is
perfect for nature observation, or simply for enjoying it.
A nice artificial lagoon with crystal-clear water. Two swimming
pools. Outdoor Grill and natural pergola.
La Aguada Hotel de Montaña offer: Reading room
and library. Internet. Bar with internationals, nationals
and local drinks ("chicha and Aloja"). Fireplace in the living

veranda made of stone.
THE
CUSINE :
Natural, homestyle and traditional cooking. La Aguada offers
the four meals of the day and snacks. The menu includes dishes
prepared with recipes of historical women of the Argentine
north and delicious local desserts. And to accompany the tempting
espresso, Tea or Tea-Mate of the day, we offer typical handcrafted
pastries (colaciones, gaznates, maicenitas (pastries filled
with dulce de leche), empanadillas de cayote (pastry filled
with a kind of pumpkin jam), and more.
Outstanding: young goat baked into mud furnace, asado with
guitar party and breakfast with homemade bread made in firewood
furnace with local jams and cheeses. We also offer delicious
regional wines of Catamarca (high altitude wines). Dishes
made with seasonal fruits and vegetables of our orchards.
You will be able to enjoy, like in the good old days, of the
genuine taste of foods. Everything is homemade and done in
the northern typical form.

The hotel offer a representative regional article
exhibition and local crafts like jams, marinades, silverware,
clothes, and weaves in loom, clay pots, decoration goods and
more.
