GENERAL
INFORMATION:
El
Pedral Lodge is the perfect place to be in close contact with
nature: the sea and the vastness of the Patagonic virgen
coastal landscapes that will surprise you with the stone and
sand beaches, the cliffs and the dunes.
El Pedral Lodge is located in Punta Ninfas, the only natural
place from which the whales that are visiting the bay can
be sighted. The vast rocky beaches shelter a great variety
of sea and land animals while the steppe is the habitat of
local animals like: maras, martinetas, guanacos, ñandues
(south american ostrich), piches and sheep.
This traditional farm is a few meters away from the ocean
and it stands out in the landscape. Norman architecture
prevails in the main house as it was built in the nineteenth
century. The furniture is typical of that time. The main
bedroom has a bathroom, a bookshelf contain books in English
and Spanish that invites you to read by the fireplace. There
is also a guest house that has eight bedrooms, each of them
has a bathroom.
Those seeking to discover the local fauna will find in El
Pedral the best place to watch whales and penguins or you
can ride a horse and to see them from the dunes. If you are
looking for adventure you can try trekking, mountain bike,
walking along the beaches, horse riding in the dunes and stiffs
or sandboarding. The ocean is another good option: you can
sail it on board a boat or kayak or you can go snorkeling,
water skiing or just fishing sharks among other species.
El Pedral Lodge is the best boutique hotel in Patagonia when
planning unforgettable outings such as watching the whales
