INFORMATION:
In the middle of a surprising and sublime landscape, is located
Chañarmuyo Estate Winery and Lodge. A unique place with
a distinct taste. in a magical, cousy and original place,
with an environment that invites to live a unique experience.
A boutique hotel to grasp the particular spirit of La Rioja,
taste regional dishes, wander around the hills and regain
energies after memorable visits to Famatina, Santo Domingo,
Chilecito, Cuesta de Miranda or the Talampaya National Park.
Surrounded
by covered balconies, Chañarmuyo Esate Winery and Lodge
is united to a unique and impressive landscape, protected
by mountains and with excellent views of the vineyards. Even
from the interior, our guests enjoy the valley’s view thanks
to picture windows of every environment. From dawn, when temperature
falls, the guests gather together around the great fireplace
to enjoy our wines and snacks of regional delights. The
wine tasting, the TV room, a well stocked library, and a varied
amount of games, are some of the options to entertain at night.

The Lodge has 10 rooms: twins, king size beds room and triples
(all rooms can be king size beds). Every room was planned
to offer the best rest to the guests, also with the help of
the silence that characterize Chañarmuyo Estate. Of large
environments and elegant decoration, every room has all the
facilities and cozy details to make everybody feel like at

THE
WINERY:
Chanarmuyo Estate is a winery that combines both high technology
and the exclusive resources of a unique terroir in its production
processes. Its vineyards extend across the Paimán range foot,
Chañarmuyo, at 1,720 meters above sea level. There, the differences
in temperature between day and night are considerable, and
a gentle breeze blows over the fiercely beautiful, uninhabited
landscape. Hundreds of years ago, the pre-Columbian culture
left its stamp on the rocks. Today, those lands are silent
witnesses of an imposing viticultural project that has become
a source of pride for La Rioja Province due to its international
standards in wine production.
The winery,
only a few meters far from the vineyards, is equipped with
advanced French technology and, given its proximity to the
vines; it processes the harvested grapes as soon as they are
gathered. The selection is manual. Once crushed and pressed,
the grapes enter the tanks by the mere effect of gravity,
with no need of pumps. The winery possesses its own bottling
line and has a final capacity of 1,5000,000 litres. Chañarmuyo
Estate is a Estate-of-the-art establishment in La Rioja where
it both encourages the provincial growth and has become an
important work source for the local communities.

THE
VINEYARDS:
At 1,720 meters above seal level, where Chañarmuyo Estate’s
vineyards lie, there’s a perfect combination of height, climate
(semi-arid and dry) and soil (rock, sand and slime). The vines
are watered by an artificial drip irrigation system and protected
by anti hail nets. The top quality plantations of red and
white grapes that extend over the 800 hectares of the winery
ground were planted with the best clones.
